Fatal Sledding Accident in North Texas Today Frisco, Texas — A tragic sledding accident this afternoon in the Frisco area has claimed the life of a 16‑year‑old girl and left another teen in critical condition, authorities confirmed as part of ongoing emergency responses to winter weather conditions.
According to the Frisco Police Department, the accident occurred shortly after 2:26 p.m. near Majestic Gardens Drive and Killian Court, when a 16‑year‑old boy was driving a Jeep Wrangler pulling two girls on a sled.
Initial investigation indicates that the sled struck a curb and collided with a tree, ejecting both girls from the sled. First responders found both teens with life‑threatening injuries, provided CPR at the scene, and transported them to a local hospital. One girl was pronounced dead, while the other remains in critical condition.
